July 2008
The big event of July has been the wedding of our eldest daughter Jo to Nigel. The wedding was held at Butley Priory in Suffolk. The venue is the former gatehouse for the 14th century priory. The original priory is gone now except for one ruined archway but the gatehouse has been maintained as a private dwelling. It is way out in the countryside and surrounded by forest and farmland. The wedding ceremony took place in the hall of the gatehouse and the reception and dancing in a marquee. The family stayed in bedrooms on the upper floors and had great fun! Enjoy the photos...
